Northern Virginia FC Earns All-League Selection Honors
Five Royals and Majestics Super Y-League Players Named to Elite Group
United Soccer Leagues announced today the All-League teams for girls and boys who took part in the ninth annual Super Y-League North American Finals held last month. Among those selected, Northern Virginia FC garnered five selections spanning four different age group selected teams.

The Northern Virginia Royals Tyler Dunn and Andrew Whitlock both earned honors for the U14 Boys All-League team. U16 Royals Travis Pittman and U17 Royals Alex Berowski also gained recognition, each being named to their respective All-League team. Northern Virginia Majestic midfielder Brieana White rounded out the elite selection group by receiving All-League team recognition on the girls side.

Selections were based off the nominations of opposing coaches made throughout the Super Y-League North American Finals tournament play. Selections per position were altered to include the players receiving the most nominations. All players selected to the list are automatically eligible to attend the Super Y-League ODP National Camps beginning Thursday, January 10 in Cocoa, Florida.

Northern Virginia Football Club, comprised of both the Northern Virginia Royals (male) and Northern Virginia Majestics (female) USL teams, is represented by the club record of both thirty-six players in SYL ODP Camp pool and four teams in the 2007 North American Finals.  Northern Virginia FC recently was named to the First 11 Club ranking, distinguishing the Royals and Majestics program as the eleventh best Super Y-League club in North America.
